PANDOWAE
Successful start in Phase 2
After very successful research in phase 1, all projects have been prolonged except ADOBS which was finished. Instead, two new projects joined the PANDOWAE community (RW-GUIDE and BLOCK), together with a new associated project (RW-CIRRUS), which brought three new PIs to PANDOWAE. Several PhD and diploma theses have been finished in phase 1. Results of the individual projects have been published in about 25 papers and showed on international conferences. Furthermore, in phase 1, three joint research studies have led to each one publication.
The young scientists of PANDOWAE had the best opportunities to exchange knowledge in the Young Scientists workshops and to benefit of the expertise of the senior scientists. For the second phase some of the young scientists stayed, now being 'old' young scientists, and some new joined the research group. PANDOWAE research is now going on in phase 2:
